How are the scores recorded during a cricket match? The scores are recorded for each ball of the match.
For each ball the scorer records:
How many runs were scored (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7)
Were there any boundary scored (4/6)
Did any wicket fall
Was it a no ball
Was it a wide ball

How many maiden overs were bowled
How many dot balls were thrown in each over
How many maximum runs were scored in any over
How many runs were scored in that over (for example, 5 runs were scored)
How many are the total runs scored at any given point during match(86 runs at end of 15 overs)
How many total wickets have fallen (3 wickets have fallen)
What is the total score (86 for 3 at end of 15 overs)
What is the run rate (at end of 15 overs the run rate is 5.73)
How many runs conceded in power play
How many catch outs, bowled outs, run outs happened in the match
Partnerships of the batsman's with runs and balls
Apart from this, experts also show you graphs, for the number of runs scored in each over (they are called the Manhattan charts), and also the graph of run-rate (worm graph).
