Using Selection Tool

The selection tool is used for selecting the object using pointer. It can also be used for moving the object on the page or rotating the selected object.

In this part we will move the label rectangle shape using the select tool.

To move the object:

• Go to the tool bar in the left of your Inkscape window
• Look for the Select tool with this arrow symbol
• Click on the tool button and move the pointer on the page
• Now select the rectangle by clicking on it.
• Now click and hold the mouse button move the position of the rectangle till is comes in the center of the page.
