We will use the Sort functions to arrange the data in increasing order.
For sorting a given set of data:
  • Select the data column/row that you want to sort by clicking on the name of the column/row
  • Click on Sort button: you can choose Sort:
    • Ascending for arranging in increasing order
    • Descending for arranging in in decreasing order
  • Click on Extend selection so that all columns are sorted, or otherwise only one column in the data is changed
You can also sort words alphabetically using this function.


​हम डेटा को बढ़ते क्रम में रखने के लिए सॉर्ट फंक्शन का इस्तेमाल करेंगे। दिए हुए डेटा को सॉर्ट करने के लिए:
  • कॉलम/रो के हैडर पर क्लिक कर उस कॉलम/ रो को चयन करें जिसे आप छांटना चाहते हैं।
  • सॉर्ट बटन पर क्लिक करें: आप छंटनी को चुन सकते हैं :
    • बढ़ते क्रम में रखने के लिए आरोही (Ascending)
    • घटते क्रम में रखने के लिए अवरोही (Descending)
  • एक्सटेंडेड सलेक्शन पर क्लिक करें, जिससे सभी कॉलम की छंटनी हो जाएगी, नहीं तो एक कॉलम में डेटा बदल जायेगा।

इस फंक्शन का उपयोग करके आप शब्दों को भी वर्णानुक्रम में छांट सकते हैं।
