How to edit LMS course unit?

LMS course unit means the one that you are currentlry reading :) As you could see this is currently uneditable.

To edit this course unit, you should have admin priviledges. Your CLIx domain team lead can grant you admin access or please get in touch with CLIx tech team at clix-tech-india@clix.tiss.edu

Once you get admin access you can edit the course as below:

1. Go to Explore.
2. Open the module that you would like to edit.
3. Open the specific unit within that module that you would like to edit.
4. On the right hand corner of secondary header under the banner image, you will find a settings wheel, click on it.
5. Click on the second option Edit Course Structure.
6. The editable CMS view of the LMS will open in a new browser tab.
7. In the CMS view you can add/remove/edit lessons, activity pages, assets, assessments among many other things.
8. To see the CMS modifications reflect on LMS switch to original browser tab (as of #4) and refresh the page by pressing Ctrl+Shift+R.

Best practices: Since you are actually editing the LMS:

1. Create new activity pages only if necessary.
2. Avoid uploading unnecessary assets (media file) if you do not intend to use them.
3. If you encounter any error on webpage, be patient (just be dont become!) please refresh the page by pressing Ctrl+Shift+R.
