How to edit a course unit?

Course unit means the one that you are currentlry reading, "CLIx Authoring Help Course Unit" :) 

As you could see this is currently not editable.

To edit this course unit, you should have admin priviledges. Your CLIx domain team lead can grant you admin access or please get in touch with CLIx tech team at clix-tech-india@clix.tiss.edu

Once you get admin access you can edit the course as below:

1. Go to Explore.
2. Open the module that you would like to edit.
3. Open the specific unit within that module that you would like to edit.
4. Select Activities, Assets, Assessments and pencil beside Lessons tabs to create/edit the course and content. 
5. On the right hand corner of secondary header under the banner image, you will find a settings wheel, click on it and select appropriate options.
6. To see the modifications reflect in course player (after making changes in #4) and refresh the browser page by pressing Ctrl+Shift+R.

1. Add co-authors as course admin to provide edit access to your team members:

2. Edit course and add a new activity page in a lesson

3. Cross publish activity page(s) and asset(s) to other course units.

Best practices: Since you are actually editing the LMS:

1. Create new activity pages only if necessary.
2. Avoid uploading unnecessary assets (media file) if you do not intend to use them.
3. If you encounter any error on webpage, be patient (just be dont become!) please refresh the page by pressing Ctrl+Shift+R.
4. Use Chrome browser incognito mode as much as possible.
