In this activity we will be using Geogebra to solve a puzzle! You not only play the game but also create puzzle for your friends to solve. There are two parts to this puzzle solving. The first part is where you will clues to solve the puzzle, this is in form of list of the numbers and alphabets.
Let us look at this list, it has alphabets and numbers like A (3,1), B (4,5), C(2,4) … So this list is the clue to solve the puzzle.
To solve the puzzle we have to put each of these points on the grid with numbers in the Geogebra application.
You will have to create a point using Point tool at the given coordinates (numbers). When you complete all the points in the list you would have solved the first part of the puzzle.
To solve the puzzle completely, you need to join the points that you have just created. But be careful, you will have to join the points in the order they are in the list. Otherwise you might end up with a wrong solution. So you have to join point A to B, B to C and so on. And the final point should be joined back to A.
This will create a shape which is the answer to the puzzle. You have to recognize the shape and label it.
