Sliders


The slider shows the name (in this case a)of the slider and its current value (in this case 2). A slider can change its current value . To do this we have to move the button on the line. At the left end of this short line, the minimum value of the slider is present, and at the right end of this line the maximum value of the slider is present. These maximum and minimum values can be set at the time of creating a slider.


For example in the slider above, the slider changes its value when we move the slider button. The initial value of the slider is 0. When we move the slider to right it increases the value, to the maximum of 5. Also note that interval between each value is 1. Similarly when we move the slider to the left, it goes to the minimum value of -5. Thus the range of the slider is -5 to 5.
