• As we want to calculate the percentage, we have to divide the grand total of marks obtained by grand total of maximum marks then multiply it by 100.
• Firstly we will go to cell "K6" where we want our grand total to be displayed
• Now write the formula as "= (J7 / J6 ) *100. And press "Enter" button.
• We should get the perentage as "70.6666667".

• क्योंकि हम प्रतिशत का आकलन करना चाहते हैं , इसलिये हम प्राप्तांकों के कुल जोड़ को अधिकतम अंकों के कुल जोड़ से भाग करते हुए १०० से गुणा करेंगे।

• सबसे पहले हम कोष्ठ/सेल “K6” में जाएँगे जहाँ हम कुल जोड़ को दिखाना चाहेंगे

• अब हम ऐसे फ़ार्मूला लिखेंगे “=(J7/J6)*100” । और “ऐंटर” बटन को दबाएँ ।

• हमें “७०.६६६६६६७” प्रतिशत प्राप्त होना चाहिए।

• After calculating percentage,  we will see numbers with more than 2 decimal points, which is default setting
• We can change this to show numbers with max 2 decimal points
• For this selecting the percentage  cell showing "70.6666667".
• Then right click mouse and select Format Cells option
• A pop-up will get opened with Number as selected category
• Then go to Decimal Places in Options and replace 0 by 2 either by using upper arrow
• Press "OK" to apply the change
• Now you will see numbers with only two decimal points in Percentage cell.

दशमलव बिन्दु कोष्ठ/सेल की फार्मेटिंग

• प्रतिशत का आकलन करने के बाद हम ऐसी संख्यायें देखेंगे जिनमें दो से अधिक दशमलव बिन्दु हैं यह डिफ़ॉल्ट सेटिंग है ।

• हम इसे अधिकतम दो दशमलव बिन्दु संख्यायों के लिए बदल सकते हैं।

• इसके लिए “७०.६६६६६६७” दिखाते हुए कोष्ठ/सेल को चुनिए ।

• तब माउस का दायाँ बटन क्लिक करें और ‘फ़ार्मेट सेल’ को चुनें ।

• एक ‘पॉप-अप’ चुने हुए वर्ग ‘Number’ के साथ खुलेगा ।

• तब ‘Options’ में ‘Decimal Places’ पर जाएँ और ऊपरांकित तीर का प्रयोग करते हुए ० को २ से बदल दें।

• इस बदलाव को लागू करने के लिये “OK” दबाए

• अब आप प्रतिशत कोष्ठ/सेल में केवल दो दशमलव बिन्दु वाली संख्यायें देखेंगे ।
